Updates

  • 6/10/25 Apologies for the lack of 5AM updates, first two weeks of uni have been... busy to say the least. But fear not! It's currently 1AM! I've been coding since 11 and I've added some spotify playlists to my OC page, moved my tamaNOTchis around and changed the update box height (probbaly have to clear cache to view because its refusing to even show me on my laptop). Also submitted an application to a sonic webring so fingers crossed. Grappling with the fact every sensible person in the gamedev community on tumblr as told me to write out the story of my game before coding. Anguish. I have 4 characters so far. I have holes where characters should be. Its mostly based off my life so it should be easy but its not (っ- ‸ -ς)

  • 30/9/25 fixed the header, added a cat on the index page that chases your cursor, and added a crossword to the recent blog box since it doesn't look like its going to be updated for the forseeable
  • 29/9/25 worked on the css for the data, rimmer, and whisper shrines but im on the iPad so its been slow going. also added way more stamps :)
  • 23/9/25 First day of uni tomorrow and yet I'm still blowing it all by sitting here coding in greasy hair and a cardigan. fml. Added some more images to the OC page and also added some non-filler text. oooh.
  • 21/9/25 fuuuuck its half 5 am and Im going out tomorrow fuuuck. anyway I've updated the home page a bit with some decor, webrings (not accepted to any yet) and a fullbody of my sona I thought was funny. FUCK I DONT KNOW WHAT TIME IM MEETING TOMORROW EITHER IVE GOT TO WAKE UP EARLY TO CHECK UGHHHHHHHH ANGUISH SOBBING CRYING UGHHHHHHH this is my own fault o(´^｀)o
  • 19/9/25 Added some more things to the OC page, iCloud was not coopertaing with transparent pngs. I need to go to bed I've got a dentist's appointment at 9AM :(

  • 30/8/25 Added some of my collection to the shadow shrine, plus some art to that and the blaze and torracat shrines. Also applied to the Transing the Internet webring!!
  • 28/8/25 I have finally finished the Harvey shrine. I have ascended to a level of fangirl previously never achieved. Also added some stuff to the Shadow and Blaze shrines, both still very bare bones. Added some stamps to the torracat shrine too.

  • 17/8/25 I GOT INTO UNI RAHHHHHHHH!!!!! Anyway I've updated the torracat shrine a bit, and I've updated my intro post to reflect the fact I'm finally out of A-Level hell
  • 24/7/25 Hey gang. Updated some shrine pages so they aren't just the tutorial page, added more stamps finally and figured out how to make them grow on hover :D
  • 22/7/25 Wowzers. Almost a month. Sorry for the lack of updates recently (esp on artfight, sorry gang). To get personal despite feeling like that meme of Wacky Dog, since April I've had nerve pain in my right ear which painkillers don't touch, and gnerally it's only gotten worse. My priorities recently have been trying to navigate that (doing anything and everything to distract myself) so I'm sure you can understand. Its improved in the past couple of days hence why I'm here. ANYWAY, onto the actual updates. I've added some screenshots to the Harvey shrine, added some gifs and photos to the Torracat shrine and updated the sitemap
  • 25/6/25 Hello gang! Exams are over finally :) Added a ford pines shrine because he's pookie and gravity falls saved me this exam season. May update the colour scheme but the page is up at least! Very bare rn but still. Also added an OC page, not finished yet but its like exactly 4AM rn and I promised my dad I would not stay up till 4 :( sorry Dad. Also making he current executive decision to sacrifice the PKMN IRL page. Will it come back? Possibly. Also possibly not. Anyway, goodnight

  • 17/5/25 Ive updated off and on in the past couple of days, mostly with the shrines, though I did also fix the sidebar, but its been hard because of.... A-levels. Shock horror. Anyway, I've added some things to the torracat and Harvey shrines, have a look!

  • 8/5/25 Adequate time management skills hate to see me coming, 4 days till my first exam and here I am. But!! I think I finally got the spotify marquee working! Also added a blinkie marquee too since I keep putting off absolutely positioned decorations. I'm going to update the sidebar too :3
  • 6/5/25 Okay according to my history I updated the site a day ago but I have no recollection of that at all, other than adding stuff to the Torracat shrine. I'm sure I'd updated more before but oh well, first exam in less than 10 days, I've got more important things to remember. Also I have not been feeling great, I'm pretty sure I've got shingles and its driving me insane. TMI but its my website and I doubt anyone looks at it.   • 28/4/25 Found the time to work on a shrine!!!! Go check out the Torracat shrine right now all of my love for that Pokemon has been distilled into a single web page. I still need to add some absolutely positioned elements but other than that I'd consider it done! Started on the Blaze shrine too but I'm going to bed now because I've been sick for like over a week now and its 1 in the morning :[
  • 25/4/25 I'm doing this on my iPad. its painful. Finished my computing coursework! 115 pages babyy! Found some pokemon and torracat graphics, made a torracat background that I will upload once I can steal my Dad's laptop again, and I've added torracat's shrine button to the shrine menu :)
  • 21/4/25 Day left to finish my coursework and here I am. Wow. Anyway I finally made my site buttons for both pokemon irl and just like. the normal one.
  • 20/21/4/25 Happy Easter! Or Discounted Chocolate Eve. English coursework is done, i bent RL Stevenson over in that thing. Found out I don't need to do as much for Computing as I thought so it's just that and Geography that needs to be finished before Tuesday. Not ideal but better! Anyway, I've worked out how to make a divider work properly (thank you people from decades ago on stack overflow), added it to all pages, made the carousel for pkmn irl, added more stamps to my files, uploaded some pokemon ones and I think that's it? I need to fix the pokemon divider specifically but its currently 1:44 AM and I've had a spot pressing on my facial vagus nerve for the past week so I don't really care right now. Goodnight! UPDATE: Its 10 to 4 in the morning. Guess I lied. Got a shrine working though?? yipee?? I somehow feel less tired???

  • 16/4/25 I should really be doing coursework right now. Instead, I've added some buttons to the footer (its not actually a footer its just the bottom of the page I'm lazy I know), and I'm trying to make a marquee for my music work. Its kind of getting there?? I guess??? Also trying to get this divider image to repeat :( UPDATE: Added a to-do list and got a navbar working! (I need to fix the links but its there!)

Anyway I've decided to completely revamp everything because its far easier than fixing it (she says, currently dying in the middle of flattening his acnh island). So um. Watch this space! (she/him) Honestly not much to say. My fursona is a smilodon, I havent actually decided on a specific species yet, I'd probably have to do more research. I chose the smilodon specifically because I love cats (I learnt to read using the cats eyewitness guide) and I'm also obsessed with prehistory. I considered maybe a balaur bondoc fursona since that's my favourite dinosaur but to be true to my personality, I act more like a cat than a bird. I used earth tones since they're my favourite but I was worried it was kinda basic, its grown on me more now though.

Spider Syphon

(she/him) Ohh my medical whump muse. My pookie. Ow.

This baby has been with me since oooh... 2023 when the wife took me to see ATSV (she then saw it seven times that year). Everyone else was making spider-sonas and not only did I get the brainworms, I also thought this would be a great excuse to ship us together. A pasttime I am known for enjoying.

Anyway, she's bitten by a radioactive wolf spider and inherited its cannibalistic behaviours, but tenfold. Most of the writing or art I do around him grapples with the fact that she must do bad things for survival, but how can he do them as ethically as possible? Is it even worth trying? Who's ethics are we following anyway? Will it ever be right to kill a person? So yeah totally not heavy stuff at all. Public opinion on him is pretty negative but he does have a small 'fanbase' if you will who view her 'work' as similar to the Claims Adjuster, since she tries to target bad people and works as a vigilante. She accepts offers on assasinations for cash though so she's not a perfect person.

Relationships wise, there's only really 2 important people in his life, one of which is based on my lovely wife, Caper, and then Matthew Seaver, the harbiner of all of her doom and he counterpart to the lizard. I might do a profile on him soon but I don't really have any art of him (also I hate him he killed my wife and fucked my crops). To sum him up, he was Syphon's mentor but then the whole spider bite thing happened because he wasn't as ethically responsible as he should've been (which Syphon resents him for), and then she ended up killing their colleauge and his boyfriend (which Seaver hates Syphon for... understandably but also its kind of his own fault). CAPER on the other hand *heart eyes* is the moral compass to Syphon's insatiable hunger. More on her below but for their relationship its ehhh. A little strained. I haven't decided yet if i want to do the ship square thing of miraculous ladybug fame but that's something to freak out about and brainstorm with the wife first, because, what else are collaborative OCs for?

Fair warning, these guys are OLD. Like first OCs I wrote for old. So they're liable to chnage as I do (would you believe they started out as minecraft fanfiction, then dystopian zombie apocalypse and now pirates. wowzers...)

Okay so fair criticism, but in my defence these were my first like, "proper" OCs, like brainworms, the whole shebang. They started off very... strange, where the plot was based on a dream that perfectly predicted the worst psychological warfare I have ever experienced that actively sent me into psychosis. So, um, these guys are holding onto a lot of baggage.

Anyway after I semi-recovered from the turmoil that was being 15, I analysed these guys and it seems like a lot of the subsequent development they went through was directly based in the trauma I experienced and the way myself and others believed it to be 'not that bad' (← WAS ACTIVELY DEALING WITH PSYCHOSIS. BTW.). Wife I know you know my website I promise this is not about you. Okay well it is but there's no ill will I promise. I did explicitly tell you outright it wasn't serious after you expressed concern and did hide every aspect of how it had affected me from you for years

Anyway! Sage! The physical manifestation of my worst moments. She's been through a lot of development so she's a lot less relatable to me, mainly because she's vying with Carol Dnavers for sluttiest absent father of the year and I'd never do that to my wife (Rosemary, if you hadn't gathered). They had a thing, then Sage fucked off for no real reason but fate brings them back together and boom second chance trope, lovers to enemies to lovers, only one bed, 250k words slowburn.

Rosemary Murray

(she/her) My wife! But as established, like several inches to the left, these guys are pretty far removed from their original inspiration nowadays. My 15 year old self described this character to my wife as 'like you but if you had a backbone'. And dear reader, this is not even the worst thing I've said to her. She's a saint. But yeah that is the most accurate descriptor I can give, 4 years on (at time of writing). Like if my wife was a fictional character, this is the BAMF tag for her.

Eldest daughter, heartbroken lesbian (RIP Rosemary Murray you would've loved The Subway by Chappell Roan), dead mother, grieving widower father, trying to run a severely understaffed ship and oh shit her old flame who ran off has just crashed into her boat. Ouch.

(he/him) Just an LPS custom. I don't know what more I can say about him. I'm deliberately avoiding abbrevations to try and pad this out as if it were a school essay with an absurdly high word count. Um. No clue what type of dog he is but he's part blacktip reef shark because it's one of my favourite types of shark (I made a papier-mache one for my room). He's just a little guy. A trinket. I love him. People have drawn art of him. It is amazing.
